Don't want to stand in long lines at the Jefferson County Courthouse?

A recent post by The Birmingham News reports that if you are thinking of getting a car or boat tag, you may be facing long lines. Fortunately you can use the computers in the library to do the following things:

• Renew your car/boat tag
• Renew your hunting/fishing license

Unfortunately for anything that requires a photo, like a drivers license, you are still looking at having to take a trip.
