Kids can have library cards, too! And September is the perfect time to get one for the younger members of the family because it's National Library Card Sign-Up Month. And it's easy! Just bring your official picture ID, proof of address, and your child to the Circulation Desk at the Hoover Public Library.

Kids with library cards can:
1. Check out books, audiobooks, movies, music CDs, video games, CD-ROMs, magazines, and puppets.
2. Learn responsibility, such as making book choices, keeping track of important dates, and taking care of property.
3. Be the proud owner of the most important school supply.
