Travel: Where to Go and When
Where To Go When, the Americas: North, Central, South America & the Caribbean by Joseph Rosendo is a book about where and when it is best to travel in the United States, Canada, South America, and the Caribbean. The author offers insight into different trip ideas, journeys you can take, and what the weather is like during that time of the year for each destination. On the first page of each month the author highlights different features for each month: festivals, notable journeys, natural wonders, and different types of trips (romance and family getaways). Once the author gives an overview of the month, he then goes on to breakdown down each destination. On the first page of each destination you will see a map of where the destination is, how to get around, what the weather is like at that time of year, which hotels are the best and the price range, and information about restaurants. The other pages are filled with information about the destination, trip ideas based on how many days you spend at the destination, pictures, and the dos and don’ts of each destination. The author gives you information on unique activities that you could take part in, one example of this is when the author writes about Las Vegas (January) he gives information on getting married in Las Vegas, he points out how much it costs and how many people actually get married in Las Vegas each year. The final thing that you will find on each page is a journal of someone who has experienced the destination before.
