Spring Break

Spring Break is just around the corner!  Now, some of you will be out of town.  You made your plans months ago.  But some of you are staying in Hoover, and you have barely started planning how to fill the days.  Let Hoover Public Library help you have fun this Spring Break!  Here's everything that we have going on that week.

MONDAY, MARCH 27, 2023
Baby Playdate at 9:30 a.m.
Enjoy a brief storytime activity and open ended play. Ages 0-18 Months. Registration required.
Story Lab: Spring Break Surprise at 4 p.m.
One story prompts lots of hands-on S.T.E.A.M. activities designed for 3 to 8-year-olds.  No registration needed.

TUESDAY, MARCH 28, 2023
Together with Tots: Colors at 9:30 a.m.

Stories and songs for 18 to 26-month-olds.  Registration required.
Together with Tots: Colors at 10:30 a.m.
Stories and songs for 18 to 26-month-olds.  Registration required.
Craft Camp! from 2-4 p.m.
A drop-in program with crafty projects for elementary-aged kids.  No registration needed.
Teen Tie-Dye at 6:30 p.m.
All supplies will be provided for grades 7-12 to tie-dye a pair of socks or a hat!  Registration required.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29, 2023
Story Sprouts at 10:30 a.m.

Dance and play in this interactive movement storytime at Aldridge Gardens!  No registration needed.

THURSDAY, MARCH 30, 2023
Quite a Catch Juggling Show at 10:30 a.m.

Join Ron Anglin in the Library Theatre for hilarious mesmerizing fun for the whole family.  No registration needed.

FRIDAY, MARCH 31, 2023
Storytime @ Lee Branch at 10:30 a.m.

Join Miss Lauren at East 59's flagship café in Lee Branch and enjoy a fun storytime for all ages!  No registration needed.
Draw the Story at 10:30 a.m.
Draw along with Mr. Justin in this storytime where drawing is a part of every story. Grades K-5.  Registration required.
Afternoon Open Gaming from 3-4:30 p.m.
Grades 7-12 can drop by the Teen Department for some gaming on the Nintendo Switch!  No registration needed.

Target Age
