This class is designed to introduce new users to Microsoft Excel, a spreadsheet application. It covers an introduction to the application and how to perform common tasks through the use of menus and tool bars.

The class includes a demonstration of the application and its basic features, along with guidance on how to use the ribbon interface. Includes step-by-step instructions on how to create and edit spreadsheets.

The class is free of charge and designed for library patrons who are new to Microsoft Excel.

slide show. PowerPoint allows you to organize, illustrate,
and present your ideas in a multimedia presentation.
This class covers the use of clipart, WordArt, charts and
graphs, slide templates and presentation options.

Carlos Pino

Jazz guitarist Carlos Pino and his band play a mixture of classic jazz, as well as original compositions. A gifted guitarist, Pino teaches at various universities in the Birmingham area in addition to being in high demand as a player with his own band as well as other ensembles.
