The Library Theatre Season

Alan Doyle

Thursday, 17 March 2016 - 7:30pm
Of Great Big Sea
Singer, songwriter, actor, producer and newly-minted, best-selling author, Alan Doyle is probably best known as the lead singer of the beloved band Great Big Sea. Formed in 1993 with Sean McCann, Bob Hallett and Darrell Power, their signature style fused traditional Newfoundland music with their own pop sensibilities. Now embarking as a solo artist, his music’s joyous spirit continues to shine with the optimism of Doyle’s own ethos, “We’re lucky to be here, so let’s make the most of it.”
