Winners of five Grammy awards, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement award, four Dove awards, Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees and invited to sing at the White House by three different presidential administrations, the Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as living legends in gospel music. Formed in the late 1930s at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind in Talladega, The Blind Boys are known for crossing multiple musical boundaries with their remarkable interpretations and stirring harmonies in a career spanning over seven decades.

Winston’s concerts feature his signature style of rural folk piano, New Orleans R&B and stride. Acclaimed albums include Autumn, December, Winter Into Spring and Summer, inspired by the seasons and topographies, as well as his Vince Guaraldi “Peanuts” tribute album, Linus and Lucy - the Music of Vince Guaraldi, and rock-inspired recording, Night Divides the Day - The Music of The Doors.
