Gaby Wolodarski is a Swedish-American visual artist whose painting and installation work probes the fictions and contingencies of the contemporary human psyche, foregrounding ways in which the visible world is subject to the pressures of our language-oriented brains. She has exhibited in New York, San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, Chicago and Birmingham. Recent solo exhibitions include Honey Blips at Sunday Takeout in Brooklyn, NY; What Are We Making Waking at The Range in Saguache, CO and Pigurative Faintings at the University of Montevallo, Alabama. Recent group exhibitions include the B20: Wiregrass Biennial in Dothan, AL and the 24th Biennial of Humor and Satire in Art, in Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
