Parents, teachers, and fellow librarians!  This is your chance to get up close and personal with the 2013 Youth Media Award winners and honors -- Caldecott Medal, Newbery Medal, Coretta Scott King Author & Illustrator Awards, Pura Belpré Award, Printz Award, Sibert Award, Schneider Family Book Award, Theodore Seuss Geisel Award, William C. Morris Award, Mildred L. Batchelder Award, YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction, and Alex Awards.  Our outreach librarian Miss Katie Jane (that's me!) will speed booktalk all the titles while you enjoy some tasty refreshments.  There will also be door prizes, which means you may walk out with a brand-new, award-winning book.  There are two opportunities to attend our Awards Showcase onTuesday, March 5, 2013 -- 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.  We will meet in the Youth Program Room at the end of the starred hallway.  Hope to see you there!
