The Hoover Public Library just wanted to give props to Bike Link of Hoover! Their motto is "Serious fun!", and they live up to it. Bike Link has been a big-time supporter of our summer reading program for years, and 2011 is no exception.

Aren't familiar with how a cycling store supports our young readers? Let us fill you in!

Every child (birth-rising 5th grade) who participates in Summer Reading keeps a running total of the number of pages they read from May 16 - July 29. The first 500 pages they read earns an entry into a drawing for a bicycle. And who provides the brand-new bike? Bike Link, of course! Their Read to Ride program enables the winning reader to pick a bike from their store.

If you haven't signed up for Summer Reading yet, don't worry, There's still time! Just drop by the Kid Zone before July 15 to pick up your packet and start reading. Who knows? You could be the lucky kid zooming around on a brand new bike from Bike Link!
