CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS!  Author Dav Pilkey has released two more of his epic novels within the last few months, so the Hoover Public Library is hosting Who Loves Captain Underpants? on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.  Professor Poopypants and an Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Lady from Outer Space will be running amok and leading kids (grades 2-5) in a series of comic games and crafts.  There will be a Toilet Paper Toss, a Plunger Relay, and a Boxer Fling (yes, that means flying underwear).  You'll get the chance to change your name to something suitably super and create your own Flip-O-Rama.  And did I mention the snacks and toilet water?  It's a good thing Captain Underpants will be there to keep the fun under control.   You won't want to miss it!  Register online or call 444-7830.  And get your hands on some of the books.  Just be sure to wash your hands first.
