My ebooks aren't showing up in Adobe Digital Editions
Problem: User downloads the .acsm file from the Library/Overdrive website, Adobe Digital Editions opens, but nothing shows up in the ADE Library.
Solution: Step 1: Close Adobe Digital Editions.
Step 2: (For Windows 7/Vista) Click the Start button, and then click on the 'Documents' link on the right-hand side of the Start menu. Then, open the 'My Digital Editions' folder. Inside, find the 'restore' folder and rename it to something else (like 'restore.bad').
At this point, start Adobe Digital Editions and try to use an .acsm file to fulfill an eBook request.(Note: you may get an 'expired' error message. If so, re-download your book from your Bookshelf in your Downloadable Account at the library's overdrive site.)
