The Library Plaza is an exciting place for our citizens to engage in the Hoover community. Features include a coffee shop, comfortable seating, wireless internet, flexible meeting areas, a newsstand, as well as a new space for The Friends Bookstore and much more.

Hear his triumphant story of injustice overcome. Although completely innocent, Calvin Johnson spent 16 years in a Georgia prison before being released as a result of DNA testing. Book sales and signing to follow.

Hoover Public Library will host a writing workshop entitled “Get Out of the Drawer!” Creative nonfiction writer Lisa Plowman Dolensky presents a motivational writing workshop at the monthly Write Club meeting.
