Documentary Screening


Join us for a fun and lively showing of the documentary Mad Hot Ballroom! Follow the journey of sixty fourth and fifth graders from New York City as they work together until they can out dance most adults. Over the course of ten weeks, these kids learn the foxtrot and the tango to compete in a citywide competition. This film, distributed by Paramount Vantage (formerly Paramount Classics), won the audience award at the Philadelphia Film Festival and the Best Documentary at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The movie has showtimes at 2 and 6:30 pm on Monday, August 14th. We offer free admission and refreshments and would love to see you there!
