A 23-year-old Russian-born Israeli/Canadian, Sophie‘s debut album finished in 2006’s top five jazz bestsellers, along with Diana Krall, Michael Buble and Madeleine Peyroux, and earned a Juno nomination for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year. With a voice described as “rich, smoky and sexy,” Sophie brought down the house at the Montreal International Jazz Festival after a stellar duet performance with Aaron Neville, and has twice reached #1 on iTunes Canada, France, Japan and United States.
