A Couple of Blaguards

"If you don¹t have a good evening, you should have yourself checked to make sure you didn¹t die during the day."
Blaguards.jpg
A bittersweet and ferociously funny account of the McCourt brothers' life in Ireland and escape to America, complete with relatives, rogues, fools and petty tyrants (priestly and otherwise). Tales range from the priest who warned of sinners' eyeballs exploding in hell to the McCourt grandmother who spit on Frank's unruly Presbyterian hair to tame it. "The McCourts' deliciously dry humor and Irish songs, so tart or sweet, will win you over by the second measure." Tickets $22
