Marc Cohn - In Concert

"I think Marc Cohn is easily in the top half-dozen talents in the world. He has consistently written some of the best songs in American music." - David Crosby

Singer/songwriter Marc Cohn burst onto the music scene in 1991 with one of the most personal, resonant songs of the past 20 years. Inspired by a 70-year-old black pianist/singer named Murial Davis Wilkins in an Arkansas honky-tonk, Cohn wrote "Walking in Memphis," which earned him the Best New Artist Grammy Award. In 2005, Cohn’s songwriting perspective was altered dramatically when he was shot in the head during a random carjacking, then witnessed the horrific events of Hurricane Katrina. He recently released his first album in a decade, Join the Parade. Tickets $22
