Veterans Reception

Join us for patriotic music, moving presentations and refreshments.
Hoover Library Plaza • 2 pm

World War II Soldiers in Greasepaint: USO Camp Show

The story of these entertainers, presented by Dolores Hydock, is diverse, hilarious, moving and inspiring. Limited seating • FREE!
The Library Theatre • 3:30 pm

Flag Folding Ceremony

Join us around the library flagpole for a ceremony honoring a Hoover veteran presented by the Hoover Fire Department.

Medal of Honor Documentary

Monday, November 3 - Personal accounts of bravery from those who served above and beyond the call of duty.  (2008, TV-14, 90 minutes) FREE!
The Library Theatre  2:00 pm and 6:30 pm

Holiday Mail for Heroes

Add a personal message to a holiday card which will be donated to this annual Red Cross project.

See pictures of veterans from all wars and submit your own family members’ images to be added.
