More computers
We wish we could, but we are out of room! With the expansion of the Library in 2001, the Library made space available for over 100 public computers. Currently, the Library does not have space available to add new network connections. In 2005, the Library introduced the Hot Spot, the wireless network that allows patron to use their laptops to access the Internet. Laptops and wireless network cards are also available for check out in the Technology Hub. When the Library Plaza is completed in the Fall of 2008, patrons will also be able to access the wireless network in the new 5,000 square feet of public meeting space.
