As part of Hoover Public Library's mission to provide lifelong learning, test proctoring is offered on Fridays by appointment only.

There is a $20 fee per student.

Please read the following guidelines closely. All students must call to schedule their test at least one week in advance.

  • Pay the $20 fee at the Circulation Desk to receive receipt. Payment can only be made by credit card.

  • Contact the testing institution to clarify procedural questions such as incorrect passwords, wrong tests, etc.

  • Maintain a file for the student that will contain all testing materials until one month after the designated testing time.

  • Forward tests via e-mail, fax, mail, FedEx or UPS at the student's expense.

The library will not:

  • Accommodate requests for unscheduled proctoring.

  • Accept appointments via email.

  • Guarantee that the correct material has been received by the testing institution by a specific date.
